Star Ghana Foundation partnered with the Gender and Reproductive Health Advocacy Youth Network (GRAY Network) to implement the Civil Society Strengthening Programme – Shift the Power (CSSP-StP) Catalyst Fund Project. This initiative aimed to build the institutional capacity of organizations, making them more effective in achieving their mandate and better positioned to access the Civil Society Strengthening Fund.
GRAY Network organized a two-day training on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for members. The training, led by an expert, focused on equipping participants with practical knowledge on how to track project progress and outcomes. Members were introduced to the use of logframes as a key tool for project monitoring and reporting. A major output of the training was the development of an M&E Policy to guide the organization’s monitoring, learning, and reporting activities.
- 13 organizational members trained.
- Enhanced capacity in M&E systems and practices.
- Improved ability to track progress and measure project results.
- Members equipped with skills to design and apply logframes effectively.
- Development of a comprehensive M&E Policy to guide organizational activities.
- Strengthened evidence-based decision-making and accountability.
The training built the foundation for systematic monitoring and learning within GRAY Network. With a functional M&E Policy and skilled members, the organization is now better able to measure impact, improve project delivery, and demonstrate accountability to partners and communities.
