During the COVID-19 pandemic, the education sector experienced severe disruptions as schools were closed for long periods, leaving many learners at home. Parents also faced economic hardships, making it difficult to finance school-related expenses. This led to increased school dropouts, especially among vulnerable students. Through this project, GRAY Network provided educational materials to support children and adolescents, helping them stay in school and continue their education. The project was implemented in Adaklu, Ho West, and Ho Municipality.

  • Strengthened community awareness of the importance of supporting children’s education.

Education is one of the strongest tools for breaking the cycle of poverty. By reducing financial barriers and providing essential learning and hygiene materials, this project ensured that vulnerable children especially girls could continue their education with dignity. Supporting them today helps secure a brighter, more equitable future for the entire community.
